Companion Melbourne premiere

Last night, I had the absolute pleasure of stepping out to celebrate the Melbourne premiere of Companion. Held at Hoyts, the night was full of excitement, glamour, and, of course, plenty of popcorn and drinks to set the perfect scene for what was to come.

Leading up to the event, I couldn’t help but feel intrigued by the storyline—a billionaire’s death sparking a thrilling chain of events for Iris and her friends during a weekend trip to his lakeside estate. With just a teaser from the trailer, it was clear Companion was going to deliver an edge-of-your-seat experience.

As I arrived, the buzz in the air was palpable. Guests mingled, drinks in hand, while the smell of freshly popped popcorn filled the venue. There’s something so nostalgic yet exciting about that scent, right? It’s like a little prelude to the magic about to unfold on the big screen.

When the lights dimmed and the movie began, I was immediately drawn into the gripping storyline. Without giving away too much (no spoilers here!), Companion is an intense, suspenseful ride filled with twists, turns, and just the right amount of drama. It had me guessing right up until the end, and trust me when I say, you won’t see it coming!

For those who weren’t at the premiere, the good news is you won’t have to wait long to experience it for yourself. Companion officially hits cinemas on January 30, and it’s one you won’t want to miss.
